Welcome to Mr. Hilderman’s Lingua Lounge. All of my English students at RCC will be expected to contribute comments (and eventually prompts) to this blog on a weekly basis. Each day, I’ll try to post one item you can choose to respond to that week. The “prompt” could be a word, idiom, quote, poem, picture, video, or song. You have complete freedom with your response, but it is expected that you contribute something different than your peers. If you desire, you may use the provided writing cues and questions to help guide your response.
Do your best to offer an interesting thought or observation relating to the item; try hard to be creative and/or insightful! You may write a description, a personal reflection or thought, respond to another student, post something more creative (a poem?), provide a link to something related, answer one of my questions, or… whatever! The freedom is yours.
My only rules:
1) Use full sentences with conventional spelling and grammar (try your best).
2) Have fun!
